Really interesting context from Michael Marshall Smith, a #GoodOmens writer, of what the process of condensing S3 was like:

The Good Omens job was initially a joy — the three of us (Neil, Peter Atkins and myself) spent four separate writing weeks at Neil’s house in Woodstock, along with the amazing script team of Catriona McKenzie and Sam Martin, and inspired producer Sarah-Kate Fenalon. The writers have known each other for thirty years so we hit our stride and had fun generating story, then heading home to our respective abodes to write our scenes, before meeting again for the next episode. Soon after we had a first draft of the whole season, everything changed. Neil stepped aside and was firewalled out of all aspects of the process from that point. Catriona and Sam did sterling work in reworking four and a half hours of material toward a movie-length finale, Pete worked with them to make it sturdy, and I did the on-set rewrites in Edinburgh. It wasn’t really “adapting”, as the novel had been covered in the first season. It was seeking — against a strong headwind — closure for beloved characters. I’m proud of what we accomplished in the circumstances.

When I was a little girl, I had a children’s Bible I loved to read from, and it had the story of Jephthah’s daughter, but it straight up lied and said she lived. Since it was not a Catholic text, I would always look up the stories in the Bible and I was horrified to find out she was killed. I

I made these right after S1! The wings are detachable and the coats are removable. There are magnets in their hands and heads so they can hold hands and kiss. They are also fully posable from the wires in their arms and legs. I gave them away and miss them everyday. #goodomens

The remarks he makes in the video were the first of a few questions this fan and her friend asked him. There is another video, that has the rest of it, but it hasn’t been posted, apparently. But the fans did provide a transcript:

Q: Did Crowley get everything he wanted in the end?
DT: "No. No. He was evaporated. And then someone who looked a bit like him met someone who looked a bit like Aziraphale, but it's not the same thing."
Q: So they really don't have their memories anymore at the end?
DT: "I don't think they do. I think it's a little moment of celestial serendipity."
Q: In the first two seasons, Crowley often wanted to run away somewhere else with Aziraphale. But in the end, he chose humanity's free will instead of his own happiness. What caused that change?
DT: "I think by the end, he's the most selfless person of all. That's the problem, really. He's actually a very bad demon. He has far too much empathy and far too much humanity in him."
Q: So when he talked about running away to Alpha Centauri in the first two seasons, do you think he was just putting on an act?
DT: "I think he genuinely felt that way at the time. He rejected Heaven, and he rejected Hell. So he started searching for a third path — a path that explores the complexity of what it really means to be human. And he wants to protect that, so that everyone can keep it. At least, that's how I understand it."

EVERY 2.0 bc when we got the EVERY spoiler in S2 we all thought it was going to be joyous and then the kiss turned out to be so sad. And when we got this scene in the trailer we were all so sure it was a love confession and instead it’s Crowley saying let’s commit suicide together #GoodOmens3

Yeah. I like that dialogue also because the fact that throughout Good Omens up to this, it’s always Crowley who’s been trying to get Aziraphale to run away with him, but it’s Asa who’s asking Anthony out.

And there’s something in Crowley playing this incredibly shy professorial type and Derek Jacobi playing this character who tells them, “I think he liked you.” And he’s like, “Oh, I don’t know.” It’s right in the feels for me.

Since GoodOmensPrime made it #Azirafur day, here’s something special I’ve been holding back…what do you think Aziraphale is telling FurFur?

Aziraphale pins a naked Furfur to a desk. Aziraphale is mostly clothed and just has pulled down his pants and is pressed up to Furfur’s ass. One of Aziraphale’s hands is on Furfur’s waist, another covers FurFur’s mouth. One of Furfur’s hands braces against the desk and the other clutches at the arm that covers his mouth. Aziraphale appears to be saying something to Furfur.
