It's weird exactly how long these guys have been "done" but I hadn't shared them out. But these minis were my testers for @goobertownhobbies.bsky.social and @ebayminirescues.bsky.social Stampin' Plates! I have a lot to learn! youtube.com/shorts/JHy7d... #40k #warhammer #miniaturepainting

They were also rescues, and I think I did a decent job at cleaning them up! Definitely not perfect, but decent!

There are 2 main things to learn with Stampin' Plates.

The pick up and the placement! I'm hoping I eventually learn how to do this well!

There has been a messy dispute about the ownership of the Smartpaints brand developed by Big Child Creatives and Ammo by Mig. This is a pre-launch version of the product given to some painters, including myself, during the development period.

The best thing I found at this year's AdeptiCon was Goblin Hobbies new Stampin' Kit. Thanks to Casey and @goobertownhobbies.bsky.social for showing me how it works. Details, and a link to the storefront, after the jump.

Tabletop devs and pubs: We're making another attempt to engage readers on the issue of tariffs. I know you're all sick over this. I'm not going to spam your inboxes this morning. But if you're reading this, and you have a few cycles to email me, I'd like to know where your head is at this morning.

Yesterday I saw a thread that had a vibe of "recreational bloodsport" within the miniature hobby community. It felt like sad-icky twitter. Until now, bsky has been wonderfully chill, cozy, and low drama... I was kind of hoping that we'd choose to not import recreational bloodsport here to bsky?

Movember Marine! Brother Peach likes big hats and moustaches, and burning heretics If you weren’t aware, though I suspect most are, Movember is focused on promoting men’s health. Be that mental or physical….even now there’s still a stigma regarding men talking openly about thier problems!
