This story is wild generally but I'm extremely amused at the below justification for engaging in one of my hobbies:

The passenger says he called other Israelis on the flight to help hold back the man before returning to the cockpit as the aircraft was tilting sharply.

“I jumped back in there, grabbed the controls, started pulling the controls,” he says, explaining that he pulled backward and quipping that he knew what to do because “I watch Mayday,” referring to a Canadian documentary television program that examines air crashes.

“The plane started leveling out a little more, and then the pilot told me he was taking over from there,” he says.

... I watched episode two last night and it turns out I still haven't gotten over the reverse sweep. (Also I am incredibly amused that Not the Lady Byng got mentioned.)

- 2014 playoffs: As a fan of Northern California hockey I would have vastly preferred losing the Cup Final in six with a young up-and-coming team to what actually happened -- losing in the first round to Los Angeles 4-3 after going up 3-0. Yes, I'm still angry about the reverse sweep and I'm going to stay mad about it until such time as the Sharks actually win a Cup or three.
- Lord Talon Award for Most Sportsmanlike Player: Hilariously this is a fictionalized version of the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for "the most gentlemanly player." In practice this usually goes to the skater with the fewest penalty minutes who's still a good player.

I enjoyed it! Definitely feels like a more "Absolute" take but I am really interested to see where it goes. Just by remembering that Mekt exists it has already surpassed Bendis. Also Sherman's art is A+. Like, here's their Titan:
