Watching Days of our Lives to see the John Oliver cameo and randomly get hit with Nintendo talk. I’d love to know what a “Zelda championship” is, btw.

I’m not sure, but I know it’s a ton of fun to play, because I’m playing right now!

I can’t imagine the work and frustration you’re going through, but please know you’re creating something that means so much to people. You’ve single-handedly turned lifelong readers in my family into VN fans. My cousin’s wife rushed to tell her book friends about you. Your work is incredible.

Just speaking the truth, man! You keep doing you, world needs more of it.

Mat, we talk about you on the GoNintendo Podcast often. We literally just did yesterday. Obviously to share sales data, but also to just talk about you. You’re a genuine, fun, and kind voice in a rough world right now. Long story short, you’re the best.

Happy new year, Mat! Thanks for offering level-headed and factual sales info in 2025, along with your random thoughts and quips. It’s those little moments that can make bad days just a little better. My 2026 resolution for GoNintendo is to get you on our podcast for a segment, damnit!

Mat, the amount of times I go to read one of your posts only to see it deleted instantly is NOT insignificant!

I completely understand and figured that might be the case. I even felt a little bad for asking since it’s clear you’re working your butt off on the experience itself. If merch ever comes to be, I’ll be there! In general though, thanks for your hard work and dedication to this amazing story.

gonintendormc.bsky.social @gonintendormc.bsky.social · 24/11/2025

@ggdg.bsky.social Is there anything being offered in terms of merch for Soul of Sovereignty? I would LOVE to have a piece of art, a print, a poster…really ANYTHING to have in my home and support your work further!

Just finished chapter 3. I was enthralled right from the first chapter, but this one has to be the best. Then again, I say that after every chapter. Incredible, INCREDIBLE stuff top to bottom. This could (and should) get endless praise, but that still wouldn’t be enough. Amazing work.

How am I supposed to concentrate on everything else in my life today when I know the best thing ever is just hours away?!

I would, but SOMEBODY hoarded all the ziti

I was JUST thinking about how we’ve never met and also never had a baked ziti family dinner before. Just sayin…

I actually mentioned that in an email to WayForward as a joke! They joked back saying that’s exactly how they planned it, but as far as I’m concerned it’s THE TRUTH.

gonintendormc.bsky.social @gonintendormc.bsky.social · 01/08/2025

Clearly my experience painted your message in a completely different way! Man, so sorry I misread that. Either way, enjoy that hair! I REALLY miss mine! At least I hung onto my beard!

I had a barber nick once decades ago and they said it was no big deal. 5 mins later they had to stop the cut because I had bled through my shirt and on to the floor. That was my last time going there…and then I went bald.

@ggdg.bsky.social Just wrapped the second chapter of Soul of Sovereignty and it was phenomenal in every way. I cannot sing its praises enough. This visual novel deserves to be shouted about from the rooftops. Amazing, amazing achievement. Congrats on an incredible experience so far.

Thank you for the kind words, my friend. Also, please don’t feel like you have to subscribe. I was worried my reply might seem like a promo for my Patreon, but the timing on your question really was perfect. I couldn’t not mention it!

This is incredible timing. I literally posted on Patreon about it today! I was sharing thoughts on Jump Truck, which I plan on downloading tonight! Interest is 1000% there. Just life and a busy schedule getting in the way. Never enough free time!
