i finished 5-2 in the whispers side event in Birmingham with GY dogs! loved the deck, not sure what I'd do with the list, but there are multiple directions to take it. Scrooge was incredible.

oh I was way off, lol. can't say I actually expected them to get foolish burial and nadu *this* time, especially as they've stayed away from it for so long I am surprised by the nemesis ban, I think the card is actually kind of middling but it is exceptionally toxic against other creature decks or-

b&r predictions: I reckon saga has to go in modern, it adds a lot of resiliency to different powerful decks and the fact that it tutors vexing bauble/other bullets feels like it puts it over the line for me at the minute

a little sad about KT losing, but ah well- I think fearless draft has really grown the skill gaps between teams within regions- teams who have more to lose from losing in regular season will struggle to have the time to build deep champion pools for these difficult bo5s. fun series tho

I'm probably a bit late posting Whispers takes considering how fast things move nowadays, but! I think these four are really interesting out of Amber. The Horseman and The Black Cauldron add a depth of card advantage to Amber that it didn't previously have access to. #Lorcana

Here's my winning Steel Amethyst (Sturple?) from the Stockholm Open! Was very happy with the list generally. I didn't have time to test all the variations I could have. (Arthur, Mines, etc)You could mess with the Hypnotic count if you're less scared of Iago than I am, lol.

Today I won the first Lorcana CCQ I attended! Feels sooo sick. I played Steel Amethyst, thought I was completely cooked on multiple occasions, but still managed to convert it.
