3. Carouns mediterranean is in north phoenix so not that far and it was one of our favorites. It's not trendy but the food is soooo good. We love the eggplant salad. 4. Chino bandido is a fun, fast casual mexican/chinese fusion restaurant. The best chili relleno I've ever had.

I'm not super familiar with Surprise but there a couple local chains with west valley locations that are good. 1. Bonfire. I LOVE bonfire. Their smoked wings are to die for. I also like their BBQ and pizza. 2. The Sicilian butcher is okay. But their eggplant meatballs are fab. (Cont'd)

Had a meeting with my financial advisor and she says I'm not in a place to buy a house next spring. So that's disappointing. But as a whole, someone with my salary should not have a hard time buying a house and that's super depressing. I make more than my parents did and they were rich!
