I took my friend to the taiwan palace museum and they had a dream of the red chamber exhibit with a bunch of items from the time period when it was set, similar to the ones mentioned in the books Omg

Back in the day here in Wales they took the waste from the coal mines and dumped it on top of the mountains (coal tips), so it doesn't hold water and needs culverts to channel it safely down, and the culverts look really badass

I did not end up including it in my blog post so here is a pic of the statues in one altar of zhinan temple when I visited. I love how everyone is ignoring the gremlin in the middle, also the guy with the angy red face (guan yu?) sticks out so much #gintw
