My ma's old mutt got herself with a tooth problem. Hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. But she's a good dog, taking her to the vet today.

We were lucky that a monsoon visited our garden while we were on the trip to Open Sauce. The melons and amaranth quite remarkably in size. The tomato is doing its thing. Some new sprouts appeared. Time will tell which plants they are...

The 25 avocados for a dollar stand was one of the highlights of my trip. They are teeny little avocados but that actually just adds to the joy of it for me.

Got the tetrab.io booth ready at #opensauce! We have two units ready for participants to test out. Looks like the badge comes with a soldering activity. Our booth is near the soldering station.

I accidentally made thai tea boba tofu. It's not bad haha. Surprised adding blackstrap molasses, sugar, and tapioca was acidic enough to curdle the soymilk but I've been giggling over this discovery all night.

Enjoyed my visit to the Biosphere 2. It's an impressive facility that's wow so #solarpunk. Initially developed as a closed ecological system for experiments in space colonization, it's now a large-scale earth science laboratory with multiple biomes, including a desert, rainforest, and ocean.

Two people stand in front of a solar tree, a large greenhouse, and other structures.

It was a pleasure to visit #Arcosanti today for an #architecture tour. An "arcology" experiment and "urban labrotory", started by Paolo Soleri in #Arizona, it offers a unique vision of community life and collaboration.

Other side! We did have to print the design embossed instead of recessed but I am loving it! Colleague worked hard to get just the right print settings for the QR to scan while I have been busy packing for my move. Can't wait to give these to attendees!

The effort paid off though. I'm delighted in this result. A little more work to be done for the QR side, but wasn't bad for a first try... #3dprint #recreator3d

Had to take the kittens to the vet because a couple of them have an eye infection. Finalized their little names.

five kittens on a brown towel. three are huddled up and named cloudy, misty, and stormy. two are towards the front and named dewey and sunny.most of the kittens are grey, some have little peach markings, and the totally peach kitten is sunny.

A neighborhood cat has opted to have kittens in my shed. There are 5 and they are about 2 weeks old now. Hopefully, I'll be able to get this cat spayed but in the meantime, awe.
