He has collected another organism to use as a hat…

I’m babysitting some inverts this weekend and I love how snails just drive over other organisms. This brittle star didn’t even react. Meanwhile a huge brittle star at the back of the tank seemed offended that a different snail was up in its business. They’re so interesting

I made a smaller figure in a similar pose to try to get the proportions better (not so long necked lol). But I dropped him and broke his tail 🙄 He still stands just fine though

I wanted to make a rearing figure. Unfortunately I squashed him a bit to make him fit in the oven; he still stands on his own but he’s quite sideways lol. He’s cute tho, I like his face

I really want this tea set but I'm worried because its white 😭 All of my tea stuff is like permanently stained but none of it is white so its not too obvious. Does anyone have luck with white ceramics for tea and keeping it from staining?

I’m currently on a nonfiction reading kick. I just finished reading “Medicine Wheel For The Planet” and “Forest Euphoria”, both of which were amazing!

Finished him a few days ago. I wish I would have given him a more interesting pose but I have a really fun idea for the next one! I’ve also never made anything this big before and I was worried he’d crack while baking (he was fine)

I’ve been buying A LOT of books and comics/manga lately which means Tipsy always has a fresh new box to lay in (she broke this one in about half an hour, but she still loves it)

This little bird (Merlin?) was eating right in front of my car. He didn’t even fly away when I got out of the car. (Sadly my phone is very old and takes poor quality videos/photos but I was very close to him!) A voracious tiny winged hunter 🦅

Fun “fall” stuff acquired! The blanket is a year round one for me, I love the colour and moths and its sooo soft! It fits my home decor aesthetic perfectly. The dinosaur mug isn’t fall but it IS super fun…

I mean its mostly okay. I spend my days doing fun stuff like hatching baby fish LOOK AT THEM. Lil fish eggies! You can only really see their eyes at this stage (also I suck at taking photos through a microscope orz)

I just got some new labradorite~ Labradorite is my favourite stone. In jewelry it looks like a storm or the sea caught in stone. And in rough chunks like this it reminds me of the northern lights

I can’t throw out all of this packing paper because its Tipsy’s favourite place to sleep and play… She loves it so much that once its destroyed I think I’ll need to buy a roll just for her lol

And the spinosaurs! I don’t have a lot of frames 😅 I got the one on the right from Homesense this morning and painted it “brass” (it was black). They didn’t have many nice options; I’ll have to keep checking in. (Left frame is also from Homesense ages ago and I really like it)

I bought this book online and went to pick it up in store. I didn’t bring a bag b/c I thought it’d be in a little box. No, it was just like this, so I was walking around the busy store and parking lot with DICK FIGHT ISLAND out in the open 🤣 Anyway I love this series, I hope there’s more to come

Absolutely miserable at work 😖 I have to go outside a lot, plus most of the a/c indoors isn’t working. But its cooler than they had projected so there’s that I guess… Hopefully my a/c is keeping up at home and all of my pets are okay; that’s my biggest fear
