Trying to make a terminal based idle game in rust. I never used rust before. I achieved this so far with the cursive library.

Same. I've quit social media in 2019 entirely (no Facebook. insta. twittery etc.) for that exact reason and was happy to try out this one bc I expected it to be more chill for some reason 😅

thanks dude. I'll just follow whoever seems sane to just make less room in my feed for whatever the algo thinks I like.

I've been clicking "show less like this :(" in my feed for 2 weeks every day to see less rage bait over american politics, yes my feed never changed once. 80% of the posts are people being angry over trump and musk which are getting tens of thousand of likes. bsky seems like a rage room to me.

Depends on the virtues and why.

imagine going to a bridge and magnet fishing and you find a bomb and goes off and it sends like a huge wave at you and your buddy and you take out your surfboards and ride it like WOOOAAAHH that would be cool I think

I hate all drugs (yes, including alc, cigs and caffeine) but man weed smells so bad. If someone is smoking a cig 15m away from me vs weed the weed stench always is a thousand times more retch inducing.

Oh but since the good part of my feed is tech people: I'm leaving windows 10 behind and will install Mint. Then I'm finally part of the cool Linux kids.

I wonder what the bsky algo is thinking. When I registered here last week I only clicked on topics of science and gaming and stuff but my feed is 80% filled with people being snarky about American politics (I am not American). I wonder how much I have to click 'dont like this post' until it's clean.

High CHA + proficiency in persuasion/performance builds are viable for short people.

When I used to live at like 3 different places at once i appreciated the portability. (College dorm, gf's place, my place). If you don't need to travel with your stuff then desktop is the better option.

I just feel bad for all the cat owners at Larian if that's how they see their cats.

I think some "socialists" think the principles of economics are optional reading for capitalists only even though the theory is heavily concerned with those as well.

Games like caves of qud have almost no graphical fidelity or voice acting compared to modern standards and it's one of the best RPGs ever. I think RPG enthusiasts know where to look.

Wasn't he in AC VI effectively as Swinburne?

Not only for you. I think it was crucial in shaping our modern notion of indie games and the "indie dev dream" of a single, hard working passionate dev (or small studio) making a hit game that soars to the top.
