I've caught a bad cold, but it's given me the time to finally finish this piece—I've been putting it off for a long time.

Spywarpoween Part 2! The Viper 🎃🐍💙💜🐍🎃 Special thanks to @motolokiev.bsky.social for FIVE pieces of art for the fic!! Note: 🔞! archiveofourown.org/works/94379001

Cover art by bunclebee of Skywarp sitting, looking up at Mirage, who is standing on his thighs. Skywarp has one hand on Mirage's calf and the other is hiding behind Mirage's wheel, probably up to no good. The colors are muted gray with pink. There are 2 twin bite marks on Skywarp's arm. They drip pink. Words at bottom read: The Viper, by Altraviolet, Art by Moto

🎃🔮💙💜🔮🎃 Welcome to Spywarpoween! A month of gently spooky spywarp fics! With beautiful art by @motolokiev.bsky.social, thank you so much! Today's fic: The Aura Reader 🔮 archiveofourown.org/works/93850211

Title art made by motolokiev/bunclebee. “The Aura Reader” in a fancy font with a few sparkles on the letters, colored blue with gentle metallic highlights. The border is divided roughly in half: the left and lower parts are filled with sandy textured swirly shapes, and playing among the swirls are tiny alt modes of a plane, a boat, and a car (Mirage's alt mode). There are also flowers and a Transformation cog. Mirage sits on a swirl shape in the lower left corner, smiling up at Skywarp. The top and right side of the border is filled with swirly metal art nouveau designs that contain a brain module, chains, a little Skywarp plane alt, a lantern, and a dagger. Skywarp sits in the top right corner of the border, legs dangling down. The overall affect is reminiscent of fairy tales, but metallic.

They feel a little soft to the touch! I always thought they'd be really hard, but they get dirty easily! It's a shame I can't hold them and play with them often.

我很难过，也不理解，为什么在中国那么多人讨厌spywarp。他们更喜欢其他的东西所以讨厌好吧，合理，但是那种喜欢的东西被讨厌的感觉还是太让人难过了。

The lineart is my friend's work—I only did the coloring! And since the lineart was a paid commission, please don't use it~ #Springeraid #maccadam

And it'll take about two months to manufacture—so now we just have to wait... and wait...

We now have 52 Mirage bunnies! It's going into production! We did it!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉And it'll take about two months to manufacture—so now we just have to wait... and wait...

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

But no matter what, we've already done great! Originally, the Mirage bunny project was going to be cancelled before August because of low sales—but now we've at least bought ourselves some extra time and managed a few more orders!

061

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

The person in charge told me that if we're only a few orders short, she could cover the cost herself to get the bunnies into production—but we're still not there yet. I think we're still about a dozen orders short.

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

The Mirage bunny's sales numbers are still too low... no... please don't...

I think I saw my friend's fan merchandise! Honestly, all of it is really exquisite! They look so beautiful... awww.

Yes! Just a little more... please sell just a little more...

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

The Mirage bunny is only about a dozen orders away from safely being born! The other characters are already on their way to production—please adopt this poor little Mirage bunny! He's so close to making it!

Yes! He's so cute, he's stolen all of my love... I really hope he can sell enough to go into production!

010

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Of course! Feel free to reference it however you like—I already asked for permission, and she said it's totally fine to draw the bunnies!

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

It has its own dedicated group chat on a Chinese app, where the organizer keeps an eye on the numbers. I think at least twenty Mirage units have been sold by now, but we need at least fifty orders before production can officially go ahead.

But if you need it, I'll go find the purchase link for you!

120

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

It's still available for pre-order! But the order numbers for Mirage are so low—I'm really worried whether he'll actually make it into production.

goichi @goichilee.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

I noticed this adorable figurine has an international purchase link, but the pre-orders for Mirage are still too few to start production. Does anyone want it?! It's super cute!!

As for the dents on their faces, they somehow make them even more endearing. That kind of battered, messy look actually feels warmer to me. I truly love your work, as always.

Hi MOTO! I've finished reading Chapter 3 with the help of a translator, and it's really cute! I'm so happy to see them interacting with other characters—it makes their world feel so vivid and their personalities even more three-dimensional.
