My 4 year old grandson, who is a 70 year old man in a 4 year old's body, wanted to come and stay with us to give our cats a chance to really get to know him. He asked me to tell them that he doesn't chase cats around any more. That was last year.

Have spent the weekend watching a peewee football game, visiting youngest stepson in his groovy new Chicago digs, and watching 7 year olds play volleyball (so many ace serves! Like record breaking 😂). Oh, and about 14 hours of driving between 9 a.m. yesterday morning and 4 p.m. today. Worth it!

I have tried the Chicken and Waffles Oreos and they are....not bad. Maple flavored, with a hint of malt that I think must be the waffles. No chicken flavor, which was a relief tbh. Husband isn't a fan, so I'm glad I only bought the four cookie package.

Up way too early on a Saturday and headed to the Detroit Zoo for the Walk to Defeat ALS Detroit. I lost my mom to ALS in 2001 so this is a cause near and dear to my heart. Looks like a beautiful day for a walk around the zoo and raise money for a great cause.
