Development Update: Almost done with the new art for the Beta 0.1 😅 Creating a card game is not for the faint of heart. But I’ve put a lot of heart into this and hopefully you all appreciate it! Wonder, if I were to highlight Amico or any part of the process, what do you wanna see?

Concept Art / Beta Card Art / Slight Pose Change for the Starter Partner Amico! We’ve been silent for a while…but the Beta Trading Card Game is just getting started! More to come!

Mundle, the Grass Amico Starter Partner. He’s a small squirrel coatimundi fusion with brown fur, a green tail, and yellow accents on all four paws and tail. Some green in his quaffed hair

Gigigo, the Fire Amico Starter Partner. A cylindrical head with a cartoon gills monster body. Red in color with a yellow jaw, belly and striped tail. There’s black feet and two black stripes on the tail, one by the booty and one at the end.

Croaken, the Water Amico Starter Partner. A round frog with a white jaw, rounded yellow arms, and big yellow yes. They have two yellow marks going down on their forehead.

Woah! DnD style along with Fakemon! We have a similar concept, trying to merge a PvP TCG with a Table Top Adventure as well! It’s ambitious, but glad to see others are pushing boundaries as well! Excited to follow along! (Also excited for your Fire Starter 👀)

Welcome! We’re glad to have you! Go Go Amicos started out as a few different Fakemon Regions and has become its own entity. It’s really a love letter to the iconic Monster Capture Game and all the others I’ve played along the way. We have a lot of ambition, but think we’re doing something rad! 💖

Absolutely! It’s awesome to see so many iterations and I’d love to share my experiences any way I can! I actually wanted to start as a MC Manual, just something to read. But then I decided to try a TCG route and it plays well. Got a small group of friends helping too lol.

Thank you! I started with Fakemon Sprites about 20 years ago. Went to paper, then digital where I was trying to mimic Sugimori. Then I created my own sort of style and realized, I could potentially make something I’ve always wanted! Been a journey and will continue to be lol But it’s worth it

What started as #Fakemon has turned into some thing totally its own! I’ve been sharing these three a lot, so hope they aren’t spamming, but this is: Mundle (Grass-Type) Gigigo (Fire-Type) Croaken (Water-Type) Would love to connect with more artists and showcase what we’re working on!

020 2

Go Go Amicos @gogoamicos.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

Okay love that! I definitely think there could be fun in a sort of balloon animal silhouette made with cacti as the balloons, and maybe beefing up your little water one to be a middle stage and making a new base form that’s more round and smol lol. Just some ideas 🥰
