iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

she was supposed to be strategist but they abandoned that pretty early on so she just got stuck with really boring water / ice abilities and no real specialization later in the series

someone wanted stronger espresso so they somehow cranked the grinder past the smallest grind setting and now it's stuck and clogged. really missed working in an office

Godzuki @godzuki.dev · 31/08/2026

my job moved to a newer office space that has a manual espresso machine and I made the mistake of making myself a cortado within eyesight of someone else so now I've unfortunately become the token queer barista guy since no one else knows how to operate an actual espresso machine

unfortunately I think this class has just devolved into an excuse to take photos of myself

I think I need this unfortunately but when did legos become $200

some last minute moody self portraits for class

black & white photo of myself, looking uninterested off towards the lower left corner of the image. A light source off the right of the image is casting an abstract shadow of me on the wall behind me

a black and white photo of myself. I'm in the lower right quarter of the image with a light source somewhere farther to the lower right casting a shadow of me against the wall and creating a spotlight effect. I have a sword against my neck held in my right hand, and my other hand in the gesture of benediction towards the sword. I'm looking up towards the sky

how do italian people live like this

I'm sure my having an evening espresso hasn't contributed to my lack of sleep this week at all, it must be something else

I accidentally went to one (1) AAPI event this month when I stumbled into a bipoc mahjong club meetup while getting groceries. can't wait to put this same lack of energy towards pride month

I am at peak power tonight during the transition from AAPI heritage and pride month

I won one commander game and came in 3rd for mahjong bc I was too embarrassed that I forgot the pinyin for numbers and my brain stopped working anyway, so I kept discarding all the character tiles so I didn't have to think as hard

010

Godzuki @godzuki.dev · 10/05/2026

just played five hours of commander followed up by two hours of riichi mahjong and I feel like my head's about to explode

went outside today, and then went back inside

A photo taken of a concrete overpass with some blue railing in the background. The overpass is above an area reserved for a light rail line. The photo was taken from inside a light rail car, so lights from within the car are reflected onto the window and onto the entire image

I started with keyboard but it I found it much easier to parry with a controller despite having keycaps with low actuation. I'm guessing it was just muscle memory from playing souls games with a controller

Cheating auras out also gets around shroud/hexproof/ward, which is getting more and more relevant at least in my pod

110

Godzuki @godzuki.dev · 14/12/2025

I have some alternate win-cons I like to cheat out with Minn. I also tried to cut down on my counterspells. If you have some reliable sac outlets, there's some fun auras you can use as instant-speed disruption

Was going to post some cards from Bloomburrow completely forgetting that was... last year. But these are my picks for 2025. Astelli Reclaimer's art feels particularly "epic space opera". Flamehold Grappler has some very cool art + a VERY Jeskai flavor text (or at least what it feels like to play it)

010

Godzuki @godzuki.dev · 14/11/2025

also got mine recently and got a halo of Field of the Dead which I just took out of a deck to cut back on game changers. Time to put it back in 😬

I would volunteer but I'll both be busy and also don't have a great camera setup for magic (assuming it's that and not through xmage)
