Another animation made with some of my 35mm film photography. Lots of light leaks in this one.

Here it is moving. I'm used to this place crushing videos, so sorry in advance if that happens here. In the process of setting up a new website that can host all the animation stuff.

Been months since I posted here. Been busy with work and avoiding socials for a better brain chemistry. Here's a couple of still frames featuring some of my 35mm photography, taken from a recent animation.

Finished watching The Sopranos. First time watching. Man, I feel depressed now. What a show though, eh?

Made some t-shirts, tanks and tunics (not pictured) with a frame taken from this animation. They're in the usual place for a short time. Ta!

I've said it before but The Exorcist as read by William Peter Blatty himself is peak audiobook. The man's voice is just perfect.

I've been reading a lot of 80's paperback horror, specifically those huge 500+ page epics where you meet an entire town full of characters right before they're devoured / mutated / go mad, etc., so I felt inspired to paint a paperback novel cover for one that doesn't exist!

an isolated farmhouse at dusk, a small shed to the right, a row of telephone wires in the foreground. the background is a mass of turbulent orange and blue clouds forming a grinning, fanged mouth.

This honestly fills me with hope. As you mention further in this discussion, we have a new generation of young filmmakers and artists actively pushing back against this tech. The joy is in the creation and they know it.

If anyone has caught Mogwai live recently and has footage of 'I'm Jim Morrison, I'm Dead', please send it to me. I did the animation work for that track and would love to see videos of it.

An old drawing of mine, which I didn't have for very long. It contains something I am looking for, being slightly lost with my work for sometime, I am to revisit this again.

Charcoal drawing World Serpent, now sold and in Italy I believe. Based on Stiffkey marshes.

Roughly 14x20'' in size with a hand deckled edge. I took them to a print fair inside a cathedral on the weekend and to my surprise they were kinda popular. I'm not inclined to list them on my store but if you want one then drop me a message. I have 3, including one that's up on my studio wall (2/2)

Just posting something that isn't an animation for a change (it's been a while). I recently found a handful of these larger screen prints on paper that I made back in 2019 (I think, they're not dated). If memory serves me, I think I screen printed these for patrons and never sold them anywhere (1/2)
