Dreamt up this weird game character, a little guy who I presume is “Slimey”, and a bunch of other recreations of stuff from this dream game. (Part 1/?) #dream #gaming #conceptart #oc #ocart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #rpg #jrpg

This is a recreation of cover art of the dream game. There are four slime characters, red, yellow, green, and a blue one. All are nearly identical except for the blue one who is much more humanoid, wearing a white shirt and tie, and has only a mouth as somewhat of an inversion to the other slimes having only eyes. It also has spiky slime “hair”. The green and yellow slimes are going flying, with the red one seemingly crashed into the camera, as shown by its cheek looking like it collided with something.

When I finished the art the box art kinda gave me the vibes of a 3DS era game specifically, so I used 3ds box art elements, I’m pretty sure this was a 3DS game in the dream or something similar, and it was fairly well received, especially for its soundtrack. It was developed by a developer in the dream known as “Square One Studios.” The game was an rpg/jrpg I think

I remember this character Furknight (furnace + knight) quite vividly. I think he was like either an enemy or boss. As you can see, the rpg was very Undertale/Deltarune-like in design, no idea why.

In the dream I remembered this was a tumblr post about a “hear me out” on the main character Slimey. It went viral quickly and became a massive meme, sometimes with Slimey replaced by depictions of other characters

Skelly turnaround sprites plus a concept with description added

Stylistically the sprites and everything overall are kinda inspired by Undertale/Deltarune, plus the Skelly dialogue portrait was kinda inspired by Persona

I wanted a simple yet expressive look, and I think I achieved that right. Now of course this is just a concept, might look a bit different later on when (and if) I get the equipment to make the game a reality

The human version of Skelly appears to be a woman in a loose t shirt and baggy pants, with them both being somewhat messy and ripped up. Skelly is smiling, and has a bob cut. She is holding her hands out.

Maple appears very tall and slender, with her signature apron on, shorts, and a t-shirt. She wears black shoes with laces, has maple leaf shaped earrings, and appears to be smiling, with large, puffy hair referencing her original design’s spiky shape.

Lol. As always, feel free to give me requests for spriting other puppet pipeline characters.

The sprite was pretty easy to make. I think I made these two sprites in like half an hour. Tried mimicking the Deltarune art style for an in-game look, while also looking at the SoundCloud thumbnails for reference and consistency

I swear this one took me so long for no reason, especially the head, but I’m happy with how the Suziphyr sprite came out!

(Also Zootus, if you’re reading this, your work is amazing! My favorites personally are TORP and Spamtina. They always pump me up when I’m lazy or when it’s hard to wake up in the morning.)

Okay so it’s basically like art where all the Spamtons get pushed forward a puppet. Kind of like a neo swap, with Maxon in the neo body, normal Spamton in the DT body, TSP Spamton in omega form

(if it isn’t clear by the art his head is a crt and there are envelopes on his shoulders with the names scratched out.) and finally, Spamt(on) takes the Maker form.
