OK, here's something: from November 7, 1954. This says the PREMIERE was on November 20.
OPERAS: "The Cask of Amontillado," a one-act opera by Julia Perry based on Edgar Allan Poe's story, will have its première on Nov. 20 at the McMillin Theatre.
It will have a stylized production and will form the second half of the Columbia University Orchestra program led by Howard Shanet. . . . Opera 55, which recently gave the Robert Law-rence-Bernard Rogers work "The Veil" will present the New York première of another short opera on Nov. 23. It will be Hugo Weis-gall's "The Tenor," with a libretto by John R. Allen and Karl Shapiro drawn from a play by Frank Wedekind. The performance will be at the Provincetown Playhouse. ... On Wednesday the Baltimore Symphony, under Massimo Freccia, will give a concert performance of Mussorgsky's
"Boris Godunov," with • Jerome Hines in the title role.

The whole gang
Two chihuahua mixes on a dog bed, one with white fur and a blue harness, the other with tan fur under a blanket with tongue hanging out. As well as a fluffy black cat in loaf position behind the dogs. All snuggled up in front of a wall heater.

And since it’s a gate pedal, it can basically be used for anything.

DIY’d a little gate pedal to control the looper on my modular synth while I’m playing. Pretty happy with this one. Butterfly nebula painting by @samgodoy.com

Found this reel-to-reel for cheap at an estate sale. I had no idea if it would work, but today I loaded a tape reel on it and it worked perfectly! This is my first little tape-delay experiment. #reeltoreel #modularsynth #eurorack

Today, I said farewell to my Neutron, my entry into the world of modular. It taught me so much, but ended up collecting dust after I got my Eurorack setup. Here's hoping it brings the next person as much joy as it brought me.

For any Magic the Gathering misprint/miscut collectors out there, I've got these stunning miscut galaxy foil Edge of Eternities lands for auction on the Misprints/Miscuts/Oddities Sharing & Selling FB Group. These were from two separate packs but they look like they were neighbors on a miscut sheet.

These emails I get that are clearly written by AI are getting weirder
Email to me that reads:

Hello Mario,
I've been thinking about how music educators who also handle tech director duties ever find time to recharge-your dual role at Maybeck High School caught my eye. The educator burnout conversation feels especially relevant to someone juggling both worlds.

Your composition work and saxophone background is impressive... that grant from SF
Friends of Chamber Music for the Einsteinium Saxophone Quartet speaks volumes about your talent.

We've got something that might interest you: wooded homesites (2-7 acres) at Red Oak Hills, just 6 miles from Nocona. Unlike undeveloped land that takes forever to use, these properties come with high-speed internet already installed
—perfect for remote composition work while maintaining your school commitments.

Could we schedule a quick 10-minute chat to see if this might be a good fit for your situation?
