I am finally done with the Yokai Watch grind. God help me if they ever add new stuff for the later jobs.....

The 1000xResist vinyl ost showed up today and to my surprise the Occupant plush arrived today! Perfect timing. Now to get that CE from Fangamer...

Also updated the area with mounted displays.

I wanted to get a better mat for my record player to replace the generic one that came with it. This'll do nicely lol

These were my birthday presents to myself (aka the things I'd already ordered that showed up that day). Gotta find time to play Hi-Fi Rush finally.

Nothing is sacred. No one is pure hearted. There is no hope anymore.

Picked up the first FFXIV OST vinyl box set. The art for each expansion is stunning (and definitely isn't making me wanna cry)

Added a display shelf behind the record player. Adds a bit to the area. Still want a higher up shelf too.

Excited to get into this one this week.

The Team Rocket takeover shop in Pokemon TCG Pocket is really silly. Love it if they do more fun stuff like this in the future.

Like, I'm not crazy right? Thats spines where pages should be? That's obvious AI slop?

100

Bob, God Of Moogles @godofmoogles.mogpile.com · 25/08/2026

Hmmmmm.... is Game Informer using AI slop ads on Facebook to peddle it's subs now? This is why some things should stay dead.

This is the second time Chiitan has liked a random bullshit post I've made and it's based AF as usual.

Got my vinyl copy of Kirite by Yasunori Mitsuda. It even came with a localized version of Masato Kato's story and some notes by Mitsuda himself. I just love this dang album. It's the third Chrono soundtrack we never got.

Old man survives rock concert. Awful crowd, awesome music. Shinedown and Coheed delivered.

Claudio is the GOAT. Fuck this crowd.

I definitely didn't spend two hours in a turtle costume dancing on the side of a busy road today. Definitely not.

Finally got my Ys/Falcom book from @hg101.bsky.social Excited to work this onto the Ys shrine.

The NPC cameos are always super fun during FFXIV events, but seeing Godbert and Julyan always makes me happy. Truly the ultimatr power couple.

Got my Materia Store sale haul. Got to the sale late so didn't get a lot, but any Yasunori Mitsuda music is a must. Also Taito Zuntata OSTs are always good.

Bison burger with fontina cheese and apple bacon chutney. Let us see how this turned out...

Bob, God Of Moogles @godofmoogles.mogpile.com · 24/07/2026

First attempt making chutney. Doesn't look professional, but tastes ridiculously good. Next up... the bison burgers...

Next addition to the game room is done. Now to get collecting on OSTs...

I'm way out of my element with a record player... but what better way to test it than with the Hades OST.

In happier news, Lunafreya is quite happy she has a balcony again after several years and can be outside.

17. Favorite Enemy/Monster The version of Nygtilger from Ys IX. It was the moment I realized they were doing something REALLY fucking cool with the game's story, and it was an awesome reimagining of an OG Ys Boss.

100

Bob, God Of Moogles @godofmoogles.mogpile.com · 20/07/2026

16. Favorite Antagonist Honestly, it's one of the weakest parts of the series, as most antagonists are either just evil assholes, or some kind of god-like entity. So I guess I'll pick Nell, 'cause it was at least a legit surprise when she was a baddie.

Bob, God Of Moogles @godofmoogles.mogpile.com · 20/07/2026

15. Favorite piece or lore/world building I find all of Eldeel's story to be really an interesting concept. Effectively being the last of a really advanced race just kinda... guiding humanity and it's growth as a disinterested sorta-god but not really.

Bob, God Of Moogles @godofmoogles.mogpile.com · 20/07/2026

Finally picked up a physical copy of one of my favorite games of last year (that I really need to play more of). Fuck Sony, Physical forever.

Emil only likes toys on sticks, so I found him like this, having dragged his favorite toy into the cat tree.

14. Character you want to return In the interest of not just saying Griselda (THIS TIME PLAYABLE) again, I'd love to see Geis. He feels like an unofficial third character in the Adol/Dogi bro team. Bonus: Hawk/Credo because his ending in Ys IX leaves him open to return since he is with Geis.
