The ship achieved a new record for the Royal Canadian Navy to be the first to reach 81 degrees North Latitude. #navy

I was honoured to attend todays ceremony for Battle Honours awarded to HMCS Vancouver for its participation in Operation MOBILE in 2011. This represents one of the highest distinctions awarded to a combat unit, recognizing courageous and dedicated service in active operations against an armed enemy
