There's a lot of cool software to help artists, but one I adore and never see talked about is Head Model Studio It's been one of the most helpful tools in my kit for a year now For full access, it's paid (23USD/year or 50USD for lifetime access) but they continue to update and expand regularly (1/4)

The stoplight loosejaw: it possibly uses its red photophore as 'night vision'; most deep sea organisms cant see red light. It has lost the floor of its mouth so the jaws can shoot out without water resistance slowing them down. (myart)
