This caused a bit of frustration and burn, and I don't want to feel guilty for promising content that I don't know If I'll be able to deliver. Ïn the long run I know this will be for the better, as I don't think pressure would make the skill recovery any faster, and I can't deal with anxiety atm.

I agree with that. If he wants the data, if he chases the truth,should be opened to the thought that maybe his opinion is wrong too. But he is not the first nor be the last that experiences an illogical tantrum like that after the amount of pressure he has.

What determines being an expert? What factors or what things he said to make himself holier? As I see it he is just a normal person, with flaws, his tendency of expressing his opinions with confidence as they were facts have led many people to feel insecure, feel insulted and dislike him.

I may see this situation this way because I've grown in a culture where the way of speaking doesn't represent the inner self. Met Angry, grumpy people that were amazingly kind, cocky motherfuckers with a golden heart and nice and calm people who are just fucking psychopaths.

Some of the issues people have against him are because of his way of speak or because they empathize with another creator who have their own feelings I think people get angry when they see that he speaks confidently even if he may be wrong and hate is really easy to create but really hard to defuse.

Even if clips from pirate caused a low start, critical thinking and proper explaining by Ross should have been enough to raise signs later. Is easier to blame the known face rather than oneself and making your own opinion. The data reflected is that focused Spite and Drama were more effective.

And that was a pretty bad decision, and he is being punished severely for it now, but back them it didn't make any reactions other than Ross' Graphs showed that his videos didn't make any negative impact back then, but instead they made a huge positive impact now and a negative impact on him.

That should be stated too! I think things would work better if people stop purchasing live service games/ licenses and find/ create alternatives. Stop feeding willingly the monsters and they will starve. People must be educated to not behave like consumers and corporations must burn to ashes.

I support SKG, but every single point o what It wants should be written in specific and concrete legal terms. Otherwise everyone can say what they believe the text is about in detail, no matter the amount of videos Ross make. main point is clear, but we have to cover legal gaps against companies

All I know is that SKG should be more specific, I couldn't find whenever or not that applies retroactively. I support the initiative on what I see is written, but there are holes not covered that could be exploited to harm the consumer, like increasing selling prices using that as justification.

Was he actively going against? All I knew was that someone last year asked his take on the initiative, made a couple of videos pointing what he didn't like and tried to move on. And when the Internet went spitting fire at him months later, he was already burnt and just wanted to move on.

Thor mostly speaks from his perspective, but he tends to speak in a way that people understand as he would say "absolute truths" when he is giving his opinion. He lacks emotional intent in his way of speak, and that create misunderstandings. But he is human as I said, and I've seen and met worse

Being right or wrong most of the time is based on perspective. About SKG, as gamedev I know how hard and expensive is to implement a retroactive end of life plan for games already published. But I see now the EOL as a necessary part of a GDD.

I don’t think he deserved the hate, but his early hype wasn’t justified either. People projected whatever they wanted onto him—idol, fraud, friend, genius, clown, tyrant—and those living off monetized attention profited from his figure, making him fly higher and fall harder.
