Overall the series is an 8/10 for me but I can see the season 2 had a drastic shift in production quality and narrative structure probably due to the fact cartoon network co-produced the last 13 episodes as it was originally cancelled due to poor ratings in Japan. Would reccoemend if you like mecha.

Cons -season 2s animation swaping to digital animation looks less clean but the same time too polished -characters/plot are overly explained and leaves less to think/ponder on -some one off episodes feel out of place and just padded time -I can see why the ending is divisive amongst fans

Pros -amazing aesthetic -amazing mecha design -amazing concept/setting -enjoyable cast of characters -great soundtrack -season 1 pacing leaving alot of the plot up to interpretation made me think on the shows themes/message.

So ended up finishing "The Big O" last night with @cybiscus.bsky.social. Shows aged well with some minor issues with the second season (animation quality between season 1 and 2 dropped massively going from traditional hand animation to digital)

Decided to out my decks back to base rarity because maybe walking around with 5k worth of cards in 2 decks is not a smart idea. Trading has been fun and the cards should be put into my personal binder.
