Why are the Lionesses called that? I understand it’s affection but the men’s team is never ‘The Lions’ - I find it a little bit awkward. Why not ‘The Three Lionesses’ ? In fact there’s 11 in the men’s team , so why do they get called The Three Lions and not ‘The 11 Lions’s’ ? 🤷🏻‍♂️
