You act like these companies getting all these IP's don't know what they are doing with them. Anyways, wanna talk about ECW on Sci-Fi?

Still holds up. I loved Double Dragon, and then Final Fight took the beat em ups to the next level.

The Beavis and Butthead episode "Comedians" kinda works with this.

The series did evolve a long way, but this one was in my arcade for the longest time. Loved the Neo Geo, loved the concept, loved the music, loved the hit sounds, loved the story.

I always liked those weird crossovers. My favorite has to be the storyline going through one USA Network Saturday morning that had a Warrior King storyline running through the Street Fighter, Savage Dragon, Mortal Kombat, and Wing Commander cartoons.

When you're waiting for the comic shop to open so you can pick up the new source book for Vampire: The Masquerade

Pro Wrestler Adam "Edge" Copeland, from the late 90s. He's sat on a sidewalk in all black and wearing shades like he's some sort of goth/vampire dude

I don't know if this is just me being an old man, but I never really noticed the video game crash when it happened. I just mostly saw it in 1982-4 as I had an Atari with fun games, the arcades had cooler games, and the home computer was a mysterious machine which had even more games.

For non-wrestling games Abdullah was the inspiration for Buchu from Yie Air Kung Fu. And I may be wrong, but Burnov from arcade Double Dragon 2 (mostly the body type and hand thrusts).

I loved the PS2 era, and especially Deception for the new lore, but it is still hilarious how much of a chump Shunjiko was.

Thinking about the computer post yesterday, I used to love basic programming when I was a kid. My biggest regret in life is not following it up like I should have in school and college. I could do more, but I always choked on tests, and I gave up too quickly.

I miss the PS2 era. The graphics were good enough for the gameplay, and there were a ton of games that didn't have to be AAA, have a 100+ campaign mode, or useless DLC and were just fun.
