As I understand, the historical Jesus (and those who would have produced the Gospels) wouldn’t have necessarily been referring to heaven as we think of it when referencing the kingdom. This could refer to Gods earthly kingdom after “the end of days.” Jewish apocalypticism could still be in play here

I don’t think “The Woke Mind Virus” is a metaphor for many. Certain folks believe it is an actual pathogen - a mental illness - that infects LGBTQ people and anyone who supports them. It looks like a new venue has opened up for people to push the pathologization of non-conformity and tolerance.

As you hear talk of a “schism” in the atheist community, keep the actual numbers in mind. The VAST majority of atheists in the US believe that *society has not gone far enough* to accept trans people. Atheist elites are ludicrously unrepresentative of US atheism and they are just finding that out.
