I'm so glad my father isn't still alive. He was addicted to gambling. He lost everything between bookies and Vegas. My mother didn't know until he had a major stroke and there was no money. At 68, she had to go back to work to support them (social security wasn't enough).

My grandson received many books from her library. He would open each book to look for her picture in the back. He and I read his favorite book (Ice Cream Face) almost daily. He's 3 and can read much of the book. She made a huge difference for so many. She will be missed by all.
