I ran my 2011 version of Acrobat X Pro on my office machines until last year, when I couldn't get it to work on Win11 (and no longer have a CD drive to install it with). I despise the subscription version but need it professionally.

Black dogs have it bad. This weird guy Cooper (Village Dog, Baja Edition) spent the first four years of his life shuttled between shelters, adoption events, and foster homes. My shepherd had just died and we weren't looking for a dog, but couldn't let that continue. He's 4.5 years with us now.

I have Stargate: Atlantis on a constant loop. Love the characters. I leave famous people alone in public but if I saw David Hewlett IRL I probably would lose my shit. I always thought Joe Flanagan should have got more work after that show. Recently found he's got 81 episodes on General Hospital!

I watch a lot of sci-fi, of which the good stuff only really comes from Canada. So I'm constantly pointing out to my wife the Canadian character actors I recognize when we watch American shows (also shot in Canada). Yeah, I'd recognize Terry Chen and Roger Cross on the street.

Well, gas in SD is really at around $6 at the stations people actually go to, which is not dramatically higher than the $5.39 - $5.89 we've been paying for a long time now. SD has had higher prices than LA for basically ever. BigOil claims it's transport cost, but collusion is more likely.

Enjoy. The Who are now a bit pedestrian for me (long time musician) but rock, and you had criteria. If you want to rock with a more sophisticated fusion style, Jeff Beck with the Jan Hammer Group Live (1977) will blow your head off. Guitar, synth, and violin solos like crazy.

The Dark Deco style is so beautiful. I repeatedly watch the early ep with the deco train because it's the grooviest thing I've ever seen. Art Director nailed it with the mandate that all backgrounds be drawn on black paper. Dark, man.

Those were the days. Third-gen printer; I love the smell of a Multilith. I did paste-up then stripping and was good at it and enjoyed it. Went into law school in '94 and by the time I graduated my former trade basically didn't exist anymore.
