This show was really what I wish the Undertale 10th anniversary concert in London last year was like 🥹 That show had bad audio mixing, couldn’t find a balance between rock and orchestra, never once spoke/introduced the band, had awkward video timings, and the audience was so loud and had no vibe

I crode. I’ve been to a lot of orchestra concerts, but this was one of the best. Perfect balance of orchestra/rock, and between audio balance and audience vibe The fact that Yuki Hayashi was not only in attendance, but played during the whole show! Amazing!!

I feel really similarly, with FFXIV and competitive Pkmn… I still listen to a lot of gaming news/podcasts/etc. but it’s often when it hits Game of the Year season I realise that I did not in fact play any games that year. I like my comfy routine but I do miss playing games a lot too 😭

I was genuinely quite upset that I only heard about the eclipse a few days ago, so I couldn't make any plans for it. But making a silly little pinhole and standing in the park explaining how it worked to curious strangers was really quite fun in the end 😌 Didn't need high tech or glasses to enjoy it

Yeah, I just felt nothing for that gameplay! That + losing a lot of the specific aesthetic/characters/worldbuilding I liked made it feel less like "this is BotW but better" and more "this is BotW but worse" to me :( But I realise that was just my specific tastes, and not the majority

I think Soken and Toby Fox are two of the biggest Leitmotif Reprisal Enjoyers I can think of in games music, so I'm spoilt, really. One of the best moments I can think of in any video game is the timing of when eScape finally kicks in during FF16's Omega fight
