Bought him a pair of obsidian black drops. At some point Betti gave him a ring of carved orestone (my ore for everything) ring that he never takes off. (His dad made it for his mom, it fits Kal's middle finger) All four of them have a pendant they wear and acquire at various story points.

Loke wears earrings and bracelets. Her earrings are gold and spiral shaped. Kalua pierced his ears when he was 20. He usually has simple studs (gold from one of Loke's bracelets, actually), but sometimes ruby studs from Mahana. Before he accepted Betti's affections, Betti #AwesomeCharacters

Ginormous, he uses a bit more than regular people would find normal. Kalua, especially later on, is obsessed with being clean, so he almost always smells like soap. Or, if Betti manages to glomp him, he'll smell like Betti. Mahana has a strong sense of smell, so she notices all of it

During the adventure there are a lot of days without bathing, so everyone probably smells gross. But if they clean up, Loke probably smells like sulfur (candles) and old books, Magnar still probably smells like the farm. Betti is my olfactory extremity because man loves his cologne. I had all sorts of helping actions, so I went with this one with Blu being (and wanting to be) Dias' helper/assistant. #Sniptober

After breakfast, Blu helped Dias clean up and tried to gather the courage to ask him
about rst aid. It was met with initial reluctance but eventually Dias resigned to at least teach
him basic rst aid. Blu was elated as he was now going to be more useful to Loke and Magnar.
Magnar went back to the shed and to get a better feel for which tools he would want to bring
along before he utilized the sharpening stone to rid them of rust and dullness. Loke went
through each abandoned building after Dias assured both Magnar and Blu no one else was in
this outpost and she’d be perfectly ne on her own.

Balan is my games and activities guy! He can often be found kicking a ball around with kids or even devising card games while in camp. If it is a game or activity, he will play it. Or create it. Organized sports probably exist I just haven't had a need to explore them #OctoberWorldbuilders

At the top of the volcano, there was a doorway cut into the mountain wall. Inside the doorway, there was a long staircase down the side that spiraled around the side of the mountain toward the center. Where the stairs ended, ring of magma encroached on solid floor.
“Was there a point of putting steps to lead all the way up here and then steps back down on the inside?” Magnar complained as he started down the steps. He could feel the intense heat through the bottoms of his boots and thought that the heat in Wiil wasn’t really all that bad in comparison.

Loke was used to having to cleanse with fresh water and following it up by a blood accent, depending on the ceremony, but neither were available and neither were called for. In place of water, she washed herself with the dirt from the hole, wincing at the scratches the small rocks made on her arms and legs.

Oh no. Finally got off the hold list for Rapport (murderbot short story) and I do NOT like the new sound effects and modulation. Glad it's only 53 min long because it's so grating. Pretty sure I haven't shared anything from this part yet, since it's following Blu around and not Loke. It's from Chapter 21. (mind the need for edits). I haven't gone into too much depth about the spirts in prompt games, but this is Rehu's tale #LitHodgepodge #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

On the opposite side of the pit, a staircase that stretched up further into the forest and up the side of a large hill or small mountain. He followed it as far as he could until it lead to a clearing.
The area was similar to Kabra. It had a large open valley and the ceremonial platform higher up, but the destruction to the platform was severe and recent. It was covered in profane words, painted across the front and the top surface. Looking out into the valley, he had a new appreciation to what Loke would see from her position, but knew seeing it in this state would break her heart. He found the opening to the temple and the door was smashed. He was small enough to fit between the rubble and into the opening. He found the halls of the temple were desecrated in the same manner of the platform. The inner chamber was even worse. The basins were smashed and the murals were splattered with horrible graffiti. He sat on the preparation platform and looked over the walls. He was able to see past the paint and understand the story that was being covered up.
Rehu was what Loke called the spirit of lightning and he assumed the figure in the paintings depicted Rehu’s story. It looked like a quiet woman being antagonized and as he looked down the mural, it showed that places that Rehu would visit would suddenly be struck down. He guessed she was being harassed because of the correlation of the lightning strikes and the visits, but near the burning houses were evil looking creatures. Blu could only assume that she was being accused of striking down houses, when in reality she was purifying them from evil. At the end of the mural, it looked like everyone realized what Rehu had been doing, but it was only after they stoned Rehu’s physical body to death.
