dylan @glowrecguy.bsky.social · 29/09/2026In my view, it’s the message of a joke that matters, not the subject matter. I think it’s perfectly fine to mock Cornell for allowing rapists to get off scot-free 1761 0

dylan @glowrecguy.bsky.social · 01/09/2025I also generally think of him as an unskilled actor, but this is supposedly an uncharacteristically good performance from him, so I guess we’ll see when the movie comes out 🤷♂️ 010 0
dylan @glowrecguy.bsky.social · 01/09/2025I generally agree. But the consensus on The Smashing Machine seems to be that it’s an uncharacteristically strong performance for him, so I would wait until that comes out before making definitive statements like “he can’t act” 000 0

dylan @glowrecguy.bsky.social · 30/08/2025I’m sure you already know this, but I’ll indulge. a. Multiple international human rights organizations have labeled Israel’s actions after 10/7/23 as genocidal b. Since then, both Biden and Trump sent Israel billions of dollars in weapons. So both presidents are directly implicated in the genocide. 030 0
dylan @glowrecguy.bsky.social · 29/08/2025I think it’s misguided to preemptively dismiss a movie as immoral or whatever based on a one-sentence summary. I think you’re being too simplistic here and that the movie will definitely be more thematically complex than “conspiracy theorists are awesome and correct”. 100 0
