Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I just had my mind blown! So there’s concept art for Resident Evil Code Veronica of the casino with an aquarium above it. Neat right! Shame that wasn’t in the game… GUESS WHAT!? IT IS IN THE GAME! If you go into Battle Mode, 1st person, and look up in the Casino, THE AQUARIUM IS THERE! 🐟 010

Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 13/06/2026Call me crazy, but this looks like an Alyson Court glare. Like old classic Claire, glaring in old CG renders, you know that look. I’m also veeery suspicious, why we haven’t heard Claire talk. Clutching at straws, I know, but this game would go from 10/10 to a 20 if Court’s back. 394
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 13/06/2026Me if Capcom has Claire’s Resident Evil 2 outfit unlockable for the Code Veronica Remake, but it’s just that shitty one from the RE2 Remake nobody likes: 000

Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 15/04/2026What I want for a Code Veronica Remake: For Claire to act like Claire. For Claire to look like Claire For Claire to dress like Claire. Resident Evil 2 Remake didn’t tick any of those boxes for me. She’s a sweet gal, but that’s not who I think of when I think of Claire Redfield. 000

Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 06/02/2026There’s a chance Code Veronica Remake won’t get announced during the 30th anniversary because it’s too soon after Resident Evil Requiem. So we could be waiting until Summer Game Fest, or longer. If that’s the case Imma go crazy. I need that sweet, sweet CV remake juice shot in my veins! 010
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 21/01/2026The Perry Novel for Code Veronica does a much better job, where by Steve pulls away of his own accord, because he realizes he doesn’t want to kiss Claire, not unless she wants him to. Darkside Chronicles Capcom cut it likely for time… or because Leon didn’t want to narrate that bit to Krauser 🤣 100
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 21/01/2026interesting fact: In the English rewrite for the CV comic, this scene is censored. Claire is given dialogue like she’s awake, even though she’s clearly not. The original version, stays true to the game. The white text boxes in the original is a narration. Also it reads originally right-to-left. 100
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 21/01/2026{ Original Code Veronica } [Steve tries to kiss an unconscious Claire to cheesy 80s music 🎷🎶 ] { The Remake } Steve: I respect you as a strong independent woman & will not do anything without your written consent, lest you yeet me from this plane & into the next dimension. Claire: I concur! 110
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 20/12/2025Know what excites me about a Code Veronica Remake? Seeing what glowup Steve is going to get. Capcom managed to turn Ashley into a beloved character that fans adore now. You just know Steve’s in for the same makeover. Darkside Chronicles already gave us a look at what a CVR Steve could be like 🥲 000
Lily @glowingdoves.bsky.social · 18/11/2025So interesting thing, in the Chinese version of the Code Veronica comic, Claire actually offers this to Steve, that she and Chris would accept him into their family 😭 Here’s a little snippet. Important to note in the comic Claire and Chris’s parents are still alive. 110
