By the way, Noah and Mio destroying the flame clock is one of my favorite scenes because it reminds me of the pair of one-winged angels from Xenogears. They are soaring through the air to achieve great things, but can only do it by relying on each other.

Xenoblade 3 is one of the most aggressively anti-fascist games I have ever played. I wish more games were as woke as Xenoblade 3. I will not be summarizing the plot, both to minimize spoilers and because you can easily look it up (don’t do this; the game is incredible).

One more down in the Xeno-marathon. Xenoblade 3 is by far the strongest of the Blade trilogy, freaking perfect for most of the game, but the Chapter 6 lore dump could have been handled better. Still, it's my second favorite in the Xeno series. On to Future Redeemed!

Xeno-marathon update: Xenoblade 2 has recovered from terminal shonenitis. It's getting pretty interesting now. The voice acting is a step down from 1 and Pyra's voice is especially bad. Despite all that, I'm keeping an open mind.
