this situation is different in that bts have influence and giving people like cb and usher the time of day and any of that social currency has an impact on everyone around them. it's miserable and it sucks.

so someone consuming art created by an abuser, contributing to that person financially, etc I could handle that. it's such a common thing and such an easy concept to explain to people most understand where you're coming from and correct themselves.

I think what's crazy is I'm old and jaded, I expect others to disappoint me with stuff like this. a lot of people who haven't experienced abuse don't actively think about it enough or consider how abuse functions and how they enable people.

There are tears in Jungkook’s eyes. He pushes the balls of his hands into the sockets of his eyes and sucks in breath after breath.

Summary:
Jungkook is no good with distractions. Admittedly, he’s juvenile in that way. Curious and impulsive, chasing after any new shiny thing, opportunity for a thrill, or interesting person. It’s risky sometimes, living with the propensity to do just about anything in an effort to feel. But, he’s long since reconciled with this part of himself— what some of his teachers had called his overactive id, where his poor attention span, over tendency to develop attachments, and competitive streak lie in wait.

All this to say that there's a reason why he finds himself glancing at the man on the treadmill next to him every few seconds.

Or, the one where Jungkook, who is "happily taken and totally straight," meets Jimin at the gym and gets a slightly attached and engages in a little "bromance."
