And here's a Glory Hounds Issue 7 script snippet for all the Milo fans out there. Alex sure seems to be one... Training's about to get a lot more interesting.

"Can we stay like this, Spot? Just for a little while?" "What, did you think I'd be letting the illustrious Dawn Hound slip from my grasp now that I finally have him where I want him?" For this dev update we'd like to share more teasers of the first romance CGs. It's Raoul's turn this month!

Snippet of a Glory Hounds illustration. Alex, a male anthro dalmatian, is holding on to and snuggling up to Raoul, a male anthro rottweiler. Alex has a content expression on his face, while Raoul looks a little surprised. They're both enjoying this a lot.

As a little bonus for this month, here's how Alex's new summer outfit is turning out! Looks like all that training with Milo's paying off. Just look at those arms! Art by @shtarfish.bsky.social!

We're hoping to have both Issue 7 and Pocket Issue 4 ready by January. Issue 7 is our largest issue yet, and this time around there are choices to make and flags to set! But as you can see, we're putting that extra bit of time to good use to get everything looking as good as we can get it.

Dying is simple. It is more complex to sustain oneself. Roy might not be dying, but he isn't living. Graham might be able to help, but it'll be complex. "Of Late Belonging" is an 18+ M/M BDSM Romance, available from @bewerebooks.bsky.social: bewere.net/product.php?... #FurryLit #BookSky

Cover of "Of Late Belonging" by Rob MacWolf, showing a lightly abstract puma in shirt and suspenders above a bar counter, and under the bar counter, wearing nothing but a harness, is a Wolf making a hushing gesture between the puma's legs which are clad only in a jockstrap. The cover has an "18+" warning, meaning the book features adult content.

Since Glory Hounds is mostly episodic and players might play issues out of order, we're hoping to eventually implement a menu that will let you alter your story choices. But that's still a little ways off. Thanks for reading this development update! I'll share more info as it comes up.

0160

Glory Hounds VN @gloryhoundsvn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

In issue 7, which is also a good ways into development, Alex can spend time with either Raoul or Milo, and depending on player choice, form a romantic connection with either of them. If you're not looking for romance, or you want to pursue Ahab, there will be platonic options available for both.

1291

Glory Hounds VN @gloryhoundsvn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Ideally, the way this setting would work is by putting underwear or shading on nude sprites and fading out before scenes get explicit. It's important to note that text and dialogue outside of these moments will likely not be affected by the setting.

1230

Glory Hounds VN @gloryhoundsvn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Pocket Issue 4 will feature the first instance of full nudity in Glory Hounds, and as such we'll be using it to test a new setting that will let players disable full nudity and skip any eventual explicit scenes if they so desire.
