In a fit of frustration, I just looked up passive-aggressive gift ideas for the holidays, and let's just say... I'm VERY impressed.

So many people saying such good things about PaxU. I'm gonna have to go. Thank you so much for all the info!

Kat Rider @gloryhoundd.bsky.social · 04/12/2023

Honestly, PaxU being around the holidays is the absolute WORST! It's one of the reasons why I've avoided it. I usually have too much to do around that time.

Networking and seeing games!

Thanks so much for all the notes! I've been to GenCon before but it sounds like I should probably switch it out for a PaxU experience.

Planning my convention schedule for next year and I'm wondering which is better to go to and why. PaxU vs GenCon. Thoughts?

I feel ya, after backing 300+ Board Game Kickstarters over the years I can honestly say not every one of them was worth it... BUT the ones that were, were gangbusters!

I finally opened my Marvel Zombies Kickstarter... God help me... I'm gonna be here awhile.

I also would like to know this!

📚 Remember in any project you're working on, it's WORTH IT to hire a consultant who knows the history, theme, culture & community for your project! Napoleon and Cleopatra failed this year for really simple reasons that could have been avoided. 💀😭

It certainly is a breath of fresh air here!

Kat Rider @gloryhoundd.bsky.social · 01/12/2023

Aww thanks so much! I'll let you know!

OMG so happy to be here!! Finally got some time to sign up and man is it worth it!

Kat Rider @gloryhoundd.bsky.social · 30/11/2023

I agree, I would LOVE a gift like this!

Ran my 1st game night for a group of individuals from a 55+ community. We played Flick'em Up, Codenames, Rhino Hero & Just One. A large divergence from their average game night and they loved it! Such a great feeling sharing my love of games with others. Photo: Skyrise Board Game - Roxley Games
