has the term 'gacha game' just become synonymous to 'game i dont like' bc guys gacha is like an actual thing that has an actual meaning. a game being f2p with a cash shop or battle pass is not automatically gacha. pulling slot machine (loot boxes, etc.) in game is gacha.

also apparently they cut this out of the midnight in depth panel stream but when they revealed the season 3 m+ pool people in the audience actually booed out loud. there's a point where the dev on stage looks taken aback, but the sound was cut. that is because we were all booing.

back from Blizzcon and while I had fun. the linecon aspect of it was horrific. First making people stand out in the sun for hours to get in (no shade or water or anything and the line was literally a mile long) to not having enough seating, to blocking everything off.

entering an era where i am prepared to pay for games i probably won't play solely to encourage developers who do not use AI. Especially since it's clear they are going to be in the minority. also the sooner AI companies start charging what it should truly cost to gen, the better.

i was not reading well enough when i bought this month's supply of seed for the outdoor bird feeders. So I ended up with a big bag of economy (corn, millet, etc.) feed where I usually fill my tube feeder with black oil sunflower. the birds are NOT happy let me tell you. They haven't touched it lol
