Thanks for this. I appreciate your coverage and posts. I still stand by the "unappealable penalty" argument for loads of reasons, and I am pleased with the ICA's decision. I also suspect this will still be a much-debated issue in 20 or 30 years. 😁

Handing Gasly a win when they were appealing an unappealable penalty AFTER the race was finalized and everyone else served their penalties appropriately was wrong to begin with. RB and McLaren were in the right to fight back on this.

Appealing a non-appealable penalty was unsportsmanlike and bad form to begin with. Everyone else took their penalties properly (minus George, who is easily confused, I guess). Applying a new rule AFTER the race, AFTER everyone else accepted their penalties, was wrong to begin with.

The whole situation was a mess, and I think everyone can agree on that. But to appeal a non-appealable penalty after the race, and change the outcome for others who respected the decisions made by the FIA during the race, is unsportsmanlike and in bad form. I'm glad RB and McLaren fought for this.

Collars are a tough choice. Cats can get their collars stuck on/under fences and trees, which leaves them vulnerable to predators. It's easy to say that a collar is a quick way to contact the owner, but if the cat is chipped, a quick visit to any vet will give everyone the info they need.

Sending healing energy for him. 🙏🏽 I once dog-sat for a friend's Boxer when she had a scratch on her cornea. A veterinarian ophthalmologist made specialty eye drops for her out of her own blood. It sounds gross but it was the last resort and saved her eye after it got infected.
