No it's ok, I think we're all feeling it. I've never been great at functioning under capitalism and I do resent how much easier it was when I was in the closet. Art is too important to me for me to stop making it though

It makes me sad because community matters so much to me and it feels like a losing battle. The social media grind is honestly wearing me down, none of this is working or paying my rent and I'm sick of reading bad things every day as my "job"

Well dang, it would appear my stuff was stolen from my vehicle while I have been 1500 miles away and unable to afford repairs. That laptop included a number of prototypes I had never backed up anywhere, including tons of VFX prototypes from when I worked on Manifold Golden.

I wanna visit cool worlds. I wanna make stuff. Doing game capture and glitching consoles have been a hack for me because it makes playing games *feel* productive. I dunno how to veg out anymore

It's funny, I may do a lot of game related stuff these days but my entire relationship to games changed post-transition and especially the further I've gotten into freelancing. I don't crave escapism anymore and I certainly don't crave a virtual unpaid job.

Woahhh no way, that's another game I burned out on because of the grind but I had a great time with it for a while (though tbh, the idea of revisiting any of my AC saves to start over has been pretty unappealing since the whole name change thing)

I remember really loving it, mostly because I could play Quake with some brainless matchmaking (though I *love* the vibe of a game with a server browser these days). Ults did get old pretty quick for me but the rest of the game was just good fun

I had a good run with this game after I burned out on Overwatch because I was specifically itching for a progression system I could grind to. Now that those days are long gone for me I'm happy to see I can revisit this game and just...access everything??
