verdict: tvp after I sat to readjust all the shortcuts to normal people shortcuts and not whatever the french thought is "comfortable"

Clip isn't an option even though I draw in it daily just because it needs too much manual setup to be a normal animation program and I'm a hater

Today's dilemma gonna be do i animate in Harmony (safe, know it well, been animating for years but is a shit volatile program), TVPaint (French shotcuts are hell, big re-adjustment, pretty outcomes) or finally test out Moho (Never touched it yet, very curious about workflow)

Alt-version of the last drawing because I didn't like covering up the belly peek despite that piece of clothing... whatever it is, being there in the design

I think there's one drawing still up of him but the others i deleted cuz i didn't want specific ocs on here, so here's this old drawing again from 2024 just without my d//urge i'd love to revisit this disgusting man again 😏

addendum: when i say to also learn how to figure draw, by that i mean how to hold your pencil, how to draw your lines so that they flow with movement, so you don't need a lot of small lines but a few big ones that define the shape you want. i find that with fat and folds it's extra helpful!

000

Glitch 🔞 Commissions OPEN @glitch8cake.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

anyways at some point i think i'll just post like a speedpaint or a recording of me drawing, it'll be easier for me to show it that way instead of making a tutorial 😭😭😭 i also recommend doing figure drawing but also learning how to figure draw.

i can't stress enough how much i use that visual library (which is also why i feel like i default to alot of similar poses lol) it's my shorthand. i also think my process is similar to how morpho's guide to fat, skin and folds explains building a body with fat layers on.

100

Glitch 🔞 Commissions OPEN @glitch8cake.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

repost from twitt: i got a question if i can make a tutorial on how i draw fat bodies and i will make like a recording at some point probably because it's just like... learning the shapes and years of building visual library of body shapes, folds and stuff as well as learning to loosen your lines.
