(repost sry, forgot the links like a dummy) hey guys. having a rough time of things atm, savings are all burned between needing to pay for HRT, dental, and replacing my borked drawing tablet, so i'm trying to get back on my feet. if you're okay with waiting in queue, i can take more comm requests.

the double-edged sword of looking at art on my TL to get inspired but also accidentally allowing the paralyzing feelings of self-comparison to creep in 💔 me: everyone's art is beautiful, mine included. :) also me: fuuuuuck why can't i do shapes or colors like this person can godddd i fuckin suuuuck

What sucks about the Discord thing is that few are going to agree on what the "replacement" will even be. Stoat is a contender sure but then you have Fluxer, TeamSpeak, Element, Root, etc... And then people just throw up their hands and stay on Discord anyway 'cuz moving is too much of a hassle.

Updated commission sheet for the new year. Small price adjustment, simplified the offerings slightly. Feel free to DM me if you're interested or have questions. More details here: glimdoesthings.carrd.co

A sheet detailing the baseline prices of my art commissions with examples given in each category. "Sketches" are 70 USD, "Line + Color" is 90 USD, and "Full Color" is 120 USD. Cost is per character, backgrounds cost extra, NSFW is included in price.

gonna delete those last posts and just make a proper pinned post for comm stuff, actually. that'd be better for sharing around. incidentally-- Merry Christmas, pals. Be kind to yourself today. Have a treat, you earned it. 🍬

Genuinely good, I 1000% fully believe that artist that still opts to *exclusively* use that site after EVERYONE told them they were moving and gave them the fucking tools to do so easily deserves the shit coming to em. Actual spineless behaviour sticking around for a handful of fake clicks.

It gets a lil' warm in the workshop. finished comm for @shinymew112.bsky.social! thank you for the support~

An anthropomorphic Dragonair woman leaning over a metal table, looking exhausted and overheated. She is lifting her shirt to air herself out, which allows her enormous, heavy breasts to rest partially upon the table. Said table is buckling and its legs are bending under the weight.

eugh, i'm probably gonna be tied up with personal stuff + working on remaining comms through the holiday. Even if I don't end up having the time to post anything nice for it, I still hope you fellas have a good holiday week regardless. 💙

yknow, come to think of it. They said that stuff like crypto, NFTs, and the "metaverse" were inevitable, too... Yeah, the metaverse. The thing that Facebook changed its whole brand for. The thing "everything" will be on, someday. Wonder how that's going.

i don't think i ever put this up anywhere, but, here's a little bug-fairy party companion i'd drawn for the D&D campaign i was running a while ago. her name is Peeper. lil' scamp.

Sketch drawing of a small, insect-like fairy woman resembling a firefly, arms crossed and legs tucked in a seated posture as she hovers mid-air.

arguing with people i otherwise find agreeable on the point of AI stuff is so frustrating. like, yes, I GET that it has acceptable uses in certain scientific/medical fields. But I DON'T want it shoved into my browser or my phone, thanks. Stop forcing me to become an unwilling "early adopter."

I don't know or care about any game award whatever. Once Upon A Katamari is my GOTY. It's not even the best game in the series but I hold the series so highly anyway that it just kinda rolls over (teehee) everything else.

She's supposed to be on a diet... ... Going great so far!

Sketch artwork of my sona, Chalice, a little bit thicker than usual and having just been caught snacking on cookies. One of her hands is still inside of a cookie jar that has been labelled "DON'T TOUCH".

I definitely think that my habit of trending towards only really doing "finished" pieces is a big part of why I burn out so often. Comms notwithstanding, I need to do more frequent and less serious sketches to loosen up some, I think. Gotta fight against the urge to color and shade everything lol

What's in the box? 👁️🎁 finished commission for Zat! thank you very much for the support!

Artwork of a blonde cyclops woman leaning against a large present box whilst holding a mug of tea in her free hand. She is wearing an "ugly" red, white and green, Christmas sweater, stockings, and booty shorts. The front of the sweater features a snowman design; amusingly, the snowman's head is stretched out over the chest area.

hey fellas, been busy. sorry for not posting for a while. have an improbably-proportioned Glamor as recompense.

My shapeshifter OC, Glamor, with an unrealistically-wide and orb-shaped lower abdomen, standing with her legs spread and trembling, as if she is having trouble adjusting to the awkward stance. She is facing the viewer, speaking to them and addressing her poor-fitting wardrobe; "Indecent? Bud, pants for this body type literally do not exist." Under her breath, she adds, "I can barely fuckin' stand..."

urgh, I used to do comms so much faster. I used to DRAW so much faster. It's not like I'm short of ideas or inspiration. At times it feels like the spirit of artistic skill leaves my body and I can barely string shapes together. i know i'm not alone in this struggle but maaan it's annoying.

Oh yeah- my birthday was last month. Goes to show how bad I was doing for a bit for me to not even spare a moment to do so much as mention that, huh. Ah well. At least I'm doing better now than I was before. To those who wished me well on Discord and other places, I appreciate y'all. 💙

Hey, sorry, i need to do a litmus test real quick. Am I alone in thinking that maybe people doing nsfw of the high-schoolers from Deltarune is. Maybe not cool? Like, you aren't spoiled for choice when it comes to characters to draw. Yet you CHOOSE to draw the... minors...? Am I missing something?

on that note, have this silly lil goblin doodle i had laying around. another npc from my d&d campaign that i hacked out a quick design for.

A short, chubby goblin woman wearing a t-shirt, jacket, shorts, and sandals, with a big pair of glasses and a small round hairpin. She has green skin, freckles, black hair, and a big tail and ears. Her belly is uncovered and exposed.

just popping in real quick to say that i'm still doing okay! still workin on comms and other things in the background, it's just been a LOT slower than i'd like. i'm trying to be careful not to burn out again. man, i am far too optimistic about my timeframes, though.

LRT, it's too often that I have times where I look back on old art and think "ew gross" but also plenty of times where I think "oh wow that kinda holds up actually". it's a nice feeling. but still really fascinating to see how far I've come in some respects with my art.

UGH i just gotta say though that this is the worst part of taking commissions; me being a quivering bundle of anxious nerves as I wait for submissions to trickle in until the deadline passes, worrying that there's something i forgot or screwed up. i suuure didn't miss that feeling at all

also: i'm currently re-evaluating my price standards. i used to only charge in USD for simplicity's sake, but with the current climate... i'm really not sure anymore. could price in CAD? maybe try to figure out region-based pricing...? would appreciate input from non-US folk.

today in rare fusions: a funny round metal-ish, soul-eating, laser-spewing, ambiguously gendered...badger-dragon...thing. i have no name for them, but i vibe with them.

Artwork with the main subject being the design of a Pokémon fusion. The fusion is the combined form of a Duraludon and a Hisuian-form Typhlosion. The original Pokémon are shown in the corner for reference.
