If you updated to 1.1.29, please update to 1.1.30 as soon as possible. v.29 and the addition of the delete functionality uncovered a hidden fatal bug that was previously buried and rare, but in v.29 it makes the whole app more prone to crashing. 1.1.30 fixes it.

Minor update (1.1.28) is live, focused solely on performance updates. Seems I got a little bit too enamored with some transition animations and in busy columns they were dragging on load times. Fixed!

Olivier - the emoji picker and the typing bugs are addressed in 1.1.26, just hit check for updates. The list issue only partially so. It should show all lists you created, but (currently) not all those subscribed to, which is a bigger UI adjustment we’re working on for an upcoming release.

v1.1.26 is now live, just hit Check for Updates under the Glidespan menu. This is a rollup of a few fixes - image loading that was slowing performance, better list views, an authentication issue for accounts not using bsky.social as their PDS, plus added an emoji picker. Enjoy!

Think I’ve found the issue, a quirk in how authentication was implemented - it gets hung up if you’re not using bsky.social. I’ll work on it and hopefully push a fix tomorrow. Thanks for the patience!

Working through some quick updates this week: v1.1.22 just shipped. One bug fixed where when you viewed a user profile and tried to do anything with their posts in the profile tab (like, repost, etc)…nothing happened. Also added “update available” notifications to the sidebar. Enjoy!

Hotfix just dropped, to address some app hanging issues when users would leave the app open for extended periods. Just click “Check for Updates” and v1.1.21 is ready to go!

A new update (1.1.20) just released, fixing a bug encountered when you viewed a users profile from within the app. “Posts” would show fine, but “Replies” and “Media” were blank or unresponsive.

Note: If you’re using any previous version, you need to do a clean download/install to get the latest. There was a lingering issue in the “check for updates” code in previous versions that’s now been resolved.

Small bug fix in v1.1.11, which just released. Seems the ATProto token was not being auto refreshed in some functions in the app, but was in others. Fixed for a more uniform experience, less annoying “token expired” alerts.

Update: v1.1.5 is nearly done, which will be our first production release (yay!). Two big updates: 1) it's now a direct distribution, and is not going to be sold through the Mac App Store, and 2) the Pro version now includes full server-side scheduled posts and analytics support.

While we're working through App Store approvals, I wanted to highlight post/thread-scheduling as it will work in v1.1.4. To keep things super simple, everything runs in the client in this version, so Glidespan needs to be open for posts to fire. (1/2)

Who loves columns?? Another key feature we missed was being able to run multiple columns to quickly track feeds, following, mentions, etc. all at once. Standard-tier users get unlimited columns, basically limited only by your screen size.

Post-scheduling has been on our wish list for a while, so Glidespan includes it for Pro-tier subscribers. Schedule individual posts or entire threads, min 1 hour out. In v1 the app needs to be open/connected for the schedule to run, but in future releases we hope to move that server-side.
