This why I have completely changed my focus on re-enacting. Standing in the rain with a groups of 20 at a public event in Ohio. What an opportunity to tell the story of the Formation and Operations of the Glider Pilot Regiment. Many responded “I didn’t know that.”

What a fweekend at Lauer Farms in Lima, Ohio Despite the cold temps and rain all day Saturday, more than 1,000 of the public came through to learn about the SWW. On the plate: DUKE nations and contributions, Donut Dollies, Merville Battery, Horsa, British Airborne formation, Juno Beach, Logistics.
