I've never seen such sore losers as the Reform Party in this by-election. The next General Election may become unbearable to watch if they're going to be like this for every seat,.

This should happen more often on TV. When MPs start giving out false information, an impartial expert such as Martin Lewis should be allowed to walk on-set to fact-check them.

It'd be nice to have more streets which had fewer lights in the UK

These are the Top 10 U.S businesses used by British consumers. You can start sending a message to Trump that we won’t be bullied into backing his Greenland land grab by boycotting the likes of CocaCola, Netflix, Starbucks, and Amazon today.

@andyburnham.bsky.social when will safe cycle parking be introduced at Piccadilly Station? I keep going into the station to buy food (10 mins max), to return to find my pannier bag wide open.

This is the sort of news I want to hear about - not hourly updates on which political party can outdo the others at cruelty to immigrants.

What's never considered by those sternly against immigration is how their pension will be paid, who will provide them care and who will save their life. They'll shout that we can train our own, but the number of people who will be available is falling. We need immigration for a functioning economy.

How would Reform fund scrapping the two-child benefit cap? They're making a lot of promises, 4 years away from an election, but not showing how they'd cost them. They're making claims based on which way the political winds are blowing...and adding a smell of 💩

If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.
