8/8 What this replaced: an afternoon of warping and lighting masks in Photoshop, per product. The whole line in about an hour. The agent handled the precise work that used to eat my time, but every call was mine. I steered, refined, approved. Try it: firefly.adobe.com/ai-assistant

7/8 For the energy ad I needed crisp text. It switched to Nano Banana Pro on its own, better for pixel-perfect lettering, then back for reference work. Right tool for the right job, all in one conversation. "TASTE THE SPECTRUM" came out sharp first try.

6/8 On the t-shirt it flagged "trailing lines below the chin" as an error. But on fabric they read as an intentional flourish, so I kept them. That's tool vs. collaborator: I decide what's a bug and what's a feature.

5/8 The mug is where the skill earns it. The mark wraps the curve, picks up the lighting, reads as printed on. After that it's just a conversation. Pin, sticker sheet, shirts, each one a sentence.

4/8 It also generated a real scalable SVG. Worth knowing the boundary: it'll make you a vector, but it can't read an SVG back in as a reference for the next step. So you feed the PNG forward. Small thing, saves you confusion.

3/8 First catch: the logo render gave Prism pupils. His eyes are hollow, so that's not him. I caught it, it fixed it. Then it kept flagging pupils on every render after, when there were none. Lesson: I'm the one checking. The AI's self-critique is a suggestion, not truth.

2/8 Started by turning Prism into a logo. One image in, "make him a single continuous line" out. The trick to make it look like HIM: tell it the reference is the exact design source and forbid redesigning. Loose instructions give a generic creature. Anchored gives you Prism.

1/8 The part nobody tells you about product mockups: the hard part was never the design. It's making a logo sit on a curved mug like it was fired on, not pasted. That's the whole job. I did all of it by talking to the Firefly AI Assistant. I direct, it executes.

Built a whole merch line for my character Prism in Adobe Firefly, from a single image. Never left the AI Assistant once. I direct, it executes. 🧵 how I did it 👇 Try it: firefly.adobe.com/ai-assistant Paid presentation for Adobe Firefly. #AdobeFireflyAmbassadors #Ad #FireflyAIAssistant

A night sky is the hardest thing to clean up. Stars and noise look almost identical, and most tools kill one trying to remove the other. Topaz Photo kept the stars and dropped the noise. Zoom in on the second image. Denoise, sharpen, upscale, all in one app. #AIart #astrophotography

Twelve years building guitars taught me detail is everything. Same instinct pulled me to AI art. Topaz Photo is where a lot of Topaz Labs' recent work landed. Ran this one through it. Tap to the zoom: a face that was barely there, rebuilt. #AIart #digitalart

One image in. Five platform-ready assets out. About half an hour total. The Assistant did the resizing and the cropping and pushed the canvas where it needed to go. Every creative decision was mine. That's the balance I want from a tool. firefly.adobe.com/ai-assistant

After that, every version just worked. Each one a clean crop from the same master. The square and portrait sizes needed the canvas pushed out sideways, and the Assistant did that on its own without me asking.

I'd built my hero edge to edge. No breathing room. Nothing to crop into. The fix was one instruction: expand the canvas, add background space, re-center everything. So leave room around your content. Always. I won't make that mistake twice.

Then I hit a wall. Tried to crop my finished image into a wide header and it kept slicing my characters off. Three tries. Still wrong. Turned out the problem wasn't the tool. It was me.

Added the headline, the subhead, darkened the text area, dropped in social icons. All by describing what I wanted. Honest note: the icons are generative approximations. They look clean, but for exact brand marks, place those yourself.

It gave me 1200x628. I needed 1200x630. Two pixels off. So I told it. Fixed instantly: "two pixels off vertically — easy fix." This is the part I like. You point at the problem, it does the work, you still own every call.

Step one inside the Assistant: upload the image, ask for a newsletter thumbnail. It read the image, made a first crop, and told me what it was doing while it did it. You can see the reasoning. That part matters.

Start with one hero image. Mine: Prism and Fluffi in a dark studio, made in Firefly Boards with Nano Banana 2 so my characters stayed consistent. One good master beats ten rushed exports. Everything downstream depends on it.
