My final illustration project at NMU: character design and a painted cover for a story I'm in the early stages of conceptualizing. The main character, Brimley Redoak, is a fairy living in the Upper Peninsula wilderness. #kidlitart #middlegrade #kidlit #traditionalillustration

An illustration for a story about the life of St. Roch, a medieval French Saint known for healing plague victims and as the patron of dogs. I'm currently writing a manuscript for this story, and I hope to make a full picture book in the future. #kidlit #kidlitart #catholicsaints #childrensbooks
