Yet more landwehr. Sold a firing line battalion as they so rarely get used in line!! These fine fellows will ably replace them.

Continuing to rebase rarely used single figures, here’s 36 guard chasseurs. They’ve joined nine of twelve acw regiments on the basing tray. Bought the Rebs from a guy on Facebook. Three pictured already sorted. Had to add a few command to the nine.

Friday saw me and Mark have a first dabble with Devilry Afoot by Nic Wright. What a blast?! It’s a cooperative game where the players are witch/monster hunters in the 16/17th C (ish!). Played out two missions. Only needs a two foot square terrain set up and a handful of figures. Recommended!!!

Went to Posh Lard in Peterborough yesterday. Here’s a few pics of a lovely CoC2 game “The Eagle has Larded” by Mike Wilkins. Resistance featuring Rene and co from Allo Allo taking on the villainous Germans

Prussian guard hussars and a reserve infantry battalion added to the horde. I think that’s 21 infantry and nine cavalry now.

Couple of 80s nostalgic gigs. ABC playing Lexicon of Love with a full orchestra in Bournemouth and Adam Ant in Bristol. Both great fun. Still going strong.

Couple of shopping incidents came through the post today. Almost enough for seven batts of Elite Mins Prussians, fusiliers and flank coys for four more French batts. Few top up bits to make up a Prussian firing line too. Yet another top up order sent to GB.

More rebasing. Now it’s my Sharp practice napoleonics turn after a really enjoyable couple of big Valour and Fortitude games. Short of a few things like standard bearers for some so adding those in. But here’s some Calpe Prussians who are ready to go.

After a mammoth napoleonic game last weekend I was inspired to dig this battalion out of drawer yesterday where it had been languishing in its undercoated state for many years. Flesh done last night, rest this morning. Vorwarts!

After 6 weeks struggling with a rather nasty chest infection it's back to the coal face... Well not literally as these Spectre 28mm figures painted by @glenbrookgames.bsky.social are clearly after rare earth metals. Useful virtually anywhere they dig stuff up. #wargame #whatacowboy #spreadthelard

OK, New Year's Resolution for the rest of you - if you see someone enjoying some innocent thing that you personally do not enjoy, kindly take that urge to make a snarky edgy comment, roll it into a sharp cone, and push it firmly so far up your fundament it pokes you in the eye from the inside. Ta.
