Day 8! Had some fun with this one, wanted to make it look like the person on the other end was just about to get completely smoked in one big punch!

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Day 7! Little bit of hand practice, by posing my left hand and trying to draw what I see with my right. I'm not used to this kind of thing, but it was an interesting exercise!

Day 6! D&D prep consumed most of my day, so I didn't have time for anything crazy. Have a simple space scene :D

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Day 5! Just some quick shading practice with a bean :3

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Day 4! Went stylized and simple for this one to avoid art burnout, something I could do nice and quick!

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Day 3! A friend of mine is big time into Limbus Company and shares a lot about it, so I thought I'd show it some love this year. I once again put a little more time into this than needed, but I'm quite happy with the result!

011

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Day 2! I decided to make a parallel piece for another character of mine in the same style as day 24 of Inktober last year, with some differences of course. I'm already goofing up my "take less time" self imposed challenge, so tomorrow is going to be a sketch day XD

011

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Day 1! I found myself very much enjoying Signalis earlier this year, so I thought I would start Inktober off with it. Much as temptation made me want to spend the next hour refining this piece, I pushed myself to put it down and leave it be. There's tons more art to make, after all!

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Following up to my previous post... Inktober starts tomorrow!! My goal this month is to embrace "good enough" rather than be such a perfectionist. I'll probably still fall into the trap with some artwork, but I want to be less picky with my details and lines overall. We'll see how it goes! :D

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Wow, my art feed sure has been empty, huh? I've been doing art in the background, but a lot of it's been smaller personal works, commissions for friends, and gift artwork, all things I don't really feel like needed to be posted here. But this coming month will see a flourish of new pieces!

Dare you stare too deep, seeking what lies beneath the surface?

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

"Got somethin' t' say? Or are ya just lookin'? I warn ya, this axe ain't just for show!"

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

"As my life fades, all I can see is light. I fought so hard for the return of the night sky I hold so close to my heart... Now it remains locked away within me. Mom, dad, my friends, everyone... Please forgive me...!"

Ink stains on canvas, name bound in the dark of night, never to forget

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

And with that, I've done it! 31 days, no days missed! Some days I couldn't do much. Some days were down to the final few minutes @3@ But I'm extremely proud of myself for taking this challenge on. I learned a lot about myself, my artistic ability, and drawing preferences during it. Now I can REST XD

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

Day 31/31! This one's a bit of an inside joke with some friends, one I thought would be a great way to cap off Inktober!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 31/10/2025

Day 30/31! A Miqo'te friend having a snack :D

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

Day 29/31! Just a little something character RP related that was on my mind!

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 29/10/2025

Day 28/31! Not sure what this is, I just kind of went with the flow. But it's cool!

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 27/10/2025

Day 26/31! No idea what this is. Exhausted. Sleep. Me. Bweh =3=

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

Day 25/31! Today I got to be part of a celebration of love and togetherness, so to commemorate it I drew these wedding rings~

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

Day 24/31! While listening to the soundtrack to Persona 3 Reload, I decided to make a partial cut-away like in the game! Maybe one day I'll make a full sized one :o

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

Day 23/31! This was an idea I had earlier on in the month but didn't get around to until now. Definitely pleased with the result~

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 22/10/2025

Day 21/31! I started this on the 15th @3@ What started as wanting to do a simple follow up to a new character became probably my most ambitious and highly detailed piece to date (including ones I haven't posted). The rest of Inktober will be a cakewalk after this one XD

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 21/10/2025

Day 20/31! More air brushing, this time to try and replicate a Glamour Prism!

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Day 19/31! Hoo boy, she didn't sign up to deal with this kind of nonsense. Someone's about to end up through a table with a roll like that!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Day 18/31! Today was a soft airbrushing and shading kind of day, so I tried a pearl/bubble. Looks nice~

020

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

Day 17/31! Thought I'd try animating for a change, something super simple for a first go. I'll see about doing more of this some day!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 17/10/2025

Day 16/31! Hahhh guess who ran out of time again XD So I put together a fun visual effect piece for some practice instead

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

Day 15/31! I ran out of time to do the drawing I wanted (which will be done tomorrow instead), so here's a quick pose practice instead. I'll flesh it out proper some day

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 15/10/2025

Day 14/31! The list of fun new characters keeps going up! Never made a character like this before, and, well... a friend said "Do it more often" XD So maybe I will~

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Day 13/31! This started as something simple, but it ended up being a full piece, one I'm very pleased with! Add this to my list of new designs I'll revisit down the line

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

Day 12/31! Nuke that cat. All you need to know is to nuke that cat

020

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 12/10/2025

Day 11/31! I've only done a pic like this once before, so it was fun to revisit the style!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Day 10/31! I wanted to do this yesterday but couldn't. Now I got what I wanted and went crazy with it~

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

Day 9/31, weeeee. My drawing arm was very unhappy with me today so I had to take it easy. So I did a shading exercise with 3 particularly different objects (if you know you know)

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Day 8/31 done! Just a quick little doodle of a lizard I like! Also I remembered to add the number count this time

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

Day 7/31 done!... ... and it couldn't have been more down to the wire if it tried @3@ Finished it literally minutes before posting this. It's official, I really, REALLY like this type of art style. Definitely going to do a lot of it in the future!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 07/10/2025

Day 6/31 done, and this one is a little special~ I've had this picture sitting half finished for over half a year but fizzled out with it at some point. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for today, so I decided to finish the rest!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

Day 5/31 went to the rats! Needed something simple today so I tried the "Draw any shape to make a rat" trick. Turned out pretty cute~ Look at these little guys :3

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

Day 4/31 complete! I did a drawing for a friend with a similar style once and thought I'd give it another go. I love hard contrasts and shadows, it's a lot of fun!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Day 3/31 got done at a reasonable time today! Decided to draw a particular CreatureTM I know today~ Life's more fun with a gremlin at your side!

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Went digging through my art folders and found this character I drew a while back but never posted! She was my first attempt at a pencil style using Procreate. I was quite pleased with how she came out. Not big on bugs, but dragonflies are cool~ (Reposted due to an error)

020

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Day 2/31 is done, and down to the wire at that @3@ I had a LOT of fun with it and it ended up being one of my best and favourite pieces. Might go back to this and give it some extra love and attention. For now, the challenge continues!

000

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 02/10/2025

Day 1/31 of Inktober is done! This was a quick one cause my day caught up to me fast. Went in going with the flow with no plan, but overall it went okay I think!

010

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

A friend got me big time into Hatsune Miku, and since then it's been a blast listening to her~ So I got to work on an art piece! Took way longer than planned, but I'm proud of the result!

Gleamingrin @gleamingrin.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Chaotic fan-art in 2025? Sure, why not! Gotta love Takinom ♥︎ (Re-uploaded due to some changes I wanted to make)
