I admit, I deserve this, I'm an insufferable parent. As @fchollet once said, becoming a dad automatically makes you churn out dad jokes by the dozen. It's like something flips in your brain and you can't stop trolling your kid, until the kid starts trolling you back, which happens very quickly too.
