I made the bee for my daughter last summer. Her cats knocked it over and it broke in three places. Took it all apart and reinvented the bee in a floral scape. Started with a basic sketch but am winging it mostly. #stainedglass #craft #create

Been scanning my 94 yo mothers stack of recipes. She would make this at Easter. It’s delicious! She’s slowly declining from Alzheimer’s. This exercise is bringing back so many memories of her original, strong, capable self. Very emotional.

New problems,new lessons learned with every project. Standard zinc u-channel would not bend to round. Final product was awful. Had to remove solder and u-channel. What a mess! So I copper taped the appliqué legs while waiting for the right stuff to arrive. #craft #glass #problemsolving #persevere
