After talking with my wife... I've come to the conclusion that it's not the fact that I was never a girl. I'm STILL happy to call myself a girl, I love it when Mali calls me "pretty girl" and the like. It's less that the girl part of me doesn't exist. It moreso feels like she never became a woman.
